Discovering Otway’s Heritage
Otway Pork came to Boxer & Co., as their design was beginning to date and lose relevance with its audience. Our challenge was to modernise the brand, celebrate its provenance and hero their brand story.
Our design solution was simple – make the brand the heart of the pack. We decided to hero the logo and fill it with charm and personality whilst giving a big nod to heritage. The large ‘O’ acts as a bold brand beacon, and can be used separately as a window into the beautiful Otway landscape and mouthwatering recipe ideas. The centre of the logo features an illustration of a smiling sow (Pig) accompanied by a playful bird sitting atop, which imbues the brand with approachability and character. Overall, we’ve created a design language that reflects the provenance and authenticity of Otway Pork.
